At 109, we care deeply about helping children grow in their understanding of God and His Word.
Our goal is to create an environment where kids feel welcomed, safe, and excited to learn. Through Bible lessons, activities, and caring teachers, children are introduced to the story of Scripture and encouraged to grow in their faith.
We want every child to know they are loved by God and valued as part of the 109 family.
Each week children have the opportunity to learn about God in ways that are engaging and meaningful for their age.
Classes focus on helping kids:
• learn Bible stories and truths
• understand how faith connects to everyday life
• build friendships with other kids
• grow in kindness, service, and faith
Our teachers work to make each class a place where kids feel encouraged, supported, and excited to learn.
We understand that parents want to know their children are safe and well cared for.
The volunteers who serve in 109 Kids care deeply about the children and families in our church. They work to create a welcoming and supportive environment where kids can learn about God and feel comfortable being themselves.
Our goal is for both kids and parents to feel confident and at home as part of the 109 family.
Children are always welcome in our worship gatherings, and many families choose to worship together.
We also offer Bible classes designed specifically for children so they can learn and participate at their own level. If you are visiting, someone will be glad to help you find the right class for your child.

Lads 2 Leaders is an opportunity for children to grow in their faith while developing confidence and leadership skills.
Throughout the year kids participate in activities that help them learn Scripture, develop their abilities, and prepare to serve God with their gifts. From Bible knowledge and speech to service and leadership, these experiences encourage young people to take ownership of their faith and grow in their walk with Christ.
For many families, Lads to Leaders becomes an important part of helping kids build friendships and grow spiritually together.
Each summer we host Vacation Bible School, a special week filled with Bible lessons, activities, music, and fun for children in our community.
VBS is designed to help kids learn about God’s Word in engaging and memorable ways while building friendships with other children and families.
It is one of the highlights of the year for many kids and a great opportunity for families in our community to connect with the 109 family.
Bible Time is a monthly gathering designed especially for children and their families.
Each month we share a meal together and spend time learning from Scripture through a short devotional that is designed with kids in mind. It is a relaxed and encouraging environment where families can grow in faith and spend time with others in the church.
Bible Time helps children see that learning about God is something we do together as a church family.
Young Disciple Camp is a special time each year when kids gather to focus on growing in their faith and building friendships with others in the 109 family.
Through Bible lessons, activities, and shared experiences, children are encouraged to take meaningful steps in their relationship with God. The camp creates space for kids to learn from Scripture, ask questions, and see how faith connects to everyday life.
For many children, Young Disciple Camp becomes a memorable part of their spiritual journey and an opportunity to grow alongside friends who are learning to follow Jesus together.
Helping children grow in faith is one of the most important things we do as the 109 family. We believe kids are not just part of the future of the church. They are an important part of the church today.
