Patrick Frans

Youth Minister

Patrick, alongside his wife Cece, has a deep love and passion for youth ministry. Both have seen the impact of a strong youth group, an impact with the opportunity to change eternities. Patrick’s story is a beautiful one of God’s providence. Patrick’s family came to faith through an invitation to a youth retreat. Patrick was leaving 6th grade when his invitation came. He was struggling as a young middle schooler trying to find his way and his people. Once Patrick started attending the youth group, its culture allowed people his age to see and care for him. They showed him Jesus, even when he didn’t know Jesus. From there, his whole family was baptized into Jesus’s blood. Since that moment, Patrick has sought to show everyone Jesus’s love. Youth Ministry is one of his main avenues. He loves teaching, planning events, and most of all connecting young people to Jesus and his Church. Patrick implements the acronym T.R.A.I.N in everything the youth group does. T. Transform, Romans 12:2 calls followers of God to be transformed as opposed to conforming to the world. R. Root, we are to be rooted in God, His word, and His church to create a lasting faith that makes it through the hard times. A. Abide, Jesus calls us to abide in Him and His word. As we abide, we move closer to the Savior and can truly live out his example. I. Influence, we are a representation of our 5 closest friends. We are to influence those around us so that people see Jesus, who gives and transforms lives. N. Navigate, through God’s power, His word,  and the people of God we can navigate the highs and lows of life while sticking close to Jesus.

Outside of ministry, Patrick loves spending time with his wife, Cece. Whether it is at home watching Survivor, traveling to new places, or cheering on the Volunteers and Broncos (or Chiefs for Cece), Patrick loves being with his wife. Patrick is also oddly obsessed with Christmas, so you may catch him singing about Frosty the Snowman in May. Patrick is also currently pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health counseling, so that he can better serve in Youth Ministry and the Lord’s Church.
